Known as ‘the land of black magic’ Mayong is a cluster of villages which is situated at 40 kilometres from Guwahati. The village lies on the banks of the Brahmaputra River in the district of Morigaon. The famous stories of black magic and the magicians of the land make the place more attractive to the tourists.
